We are pleased to welcome you to our Amilcar Clinic and thank you for your trust. We want to inform you that we will always be at your service. We are committed to providing you with quality services and following you throughout your stay. We will be very attentive to your care throughout your stay, and ensuring good quality of care, services, and reception will be our priority: Your satisfaction is our goal. We wish you a speedy recovery.
The management and staff

Your admission

Your admission will be taken care of by our team upon your arrival.

Pre-admission:

Aims to plan your stay and reduce your waiting time on the day of your arrival.

It can be done either in person at the clinic’s reception or remotely through our website.

During pre-admission, you will have the opportunity to make an appointment, ask any questions, have an overview of the procedure you will undergo, an approximate idea of the duration of your stay, etc.

Admission:

After setting the date of your hospitalization with your doctor, you must complete your medical record with the following documents:

  • Registration form
  • Identification card
  • Insurance
  • An advance on fees
  • If you are hospitalized in an emergency, you will be informed of the procedure to follow at the emergency reception desk.

Your Stay and Hospitalization

Your Care:

The daily care prescribed by your attending physician will be provided by a multidisciplinary team (nurses, nursing aides, physiotherapists, etc.).

Accommodation:

Your room will be clean and comfortable, equipped with a bed for the patient, a television, a private bathroom, as well as internet access.

Our facility offers 7 suites for added comfort. During your stay in one of our suites, you will have access to privileged services. The suite is equipped to allow a family member to accompany you during your stay.

We will provide you with a free service including a Smart TV, internet access, access to our virtual library, games, linen, etc. Varied and adapted meals will be served to you.

Paid services will also be offered to you, you will find the details of these services in the annex of the welcome booklet available in your room.

You can also call the floor team or the reception, who will be available to answer your questions.

Your Departure

After the procedure, your vigilance may be decreased for a few hours, so it is important to follow these instructions:

  • Do not use dangerous instruments.
  • Only take medications prescribed by your surgeon or anesthesiologist.
  • Do not drive or use public transportation.
  • Try to rest and avoid physical exertion.
  • Your doctor decides when you can leave, gives you, and explains the medical documents.
  • The discharge takes place in the morning after the doctor's visit.
  • If your health does not allow you to return home on your own, suitable transportation will be prescribed by the doctor (Ambulance, Taxi, private driver, etc.).
Discharge against medical advice:

If you wish to leave the facility without the doctor’s permission, we will ask you to sign a discharge against medical advice form. This form indicates that you have understood the information given by the doctor but still choose to leave.

Formalities at the desk:

On the day of your discharge, several documents will be given to you:

  • The invoice for care, which includes the daily flat rate and any additional charges (luxury room, telephone line, etc.).
  • A medical prescription
  • A medical certificate upon request
  • A confidential letter upon request

  • Before leaving the clinic, please complete the satisfaction questionnaire that will be given to you and place it in the designated box or hand it to a staff member.
  • This will allow us to collect your comments and suggestions, which are essential for improving our care.

Money and personal belongings

  • Despite our vigilance, thefts are not uncommon. Do not leave personal items visible when you leave the room.
  • In case of theft, the clinic will not be held responsible.

Your rights

Emergency contact:
  • You have the right to identify a person to notify who will take care of returning your personal items, contacting your family, and who will be contacted in case of worsening health. You can cancel or modify it at any time.
Person of Trust:
  • You can designate a person from your circle (relative, close friend, ...) as a person of trust.
  • They will be your spokesperson with healthcare professionals, accompany you in your steps throughout your care, and attend medical interviews with you.

The protection of your personal health data

  • The information in your medical record is personal, so you should only share it with a third party if you choose to do so.
  • The medical staff may request to consult your medical record, once archived, with total respect for anonymity.

Access to your medical record

During your stay, the medical team is required to inform you about the evolution of your health condition with clear explanations.

The protection of people under guardianship

All information regarding the health of individuals under guardianship as well as the care they must receive will be provided to their legal representatives (i.e., the guardian).
